How do generation credits work?

Each plan grants generation credits every billing cycle. New screenshots use 3 credits, revisions use 2 credits, translations use 1 credit, app icons use 3 credits, and icon moodboards use 5 credits.

Can I try Shots for free?

Yes. Every account starts with 3 free screenshots and 1 app profile. No card is required.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Generation pauses until you upgrade, wait for renewal, or buy a one-time credit top-up. Existing exports, downloads, and saved assets remain available.

Do top-up credits expire?

No. Top-up credits do not expire. They are one-time purchases added to your generation credit balance and remain available until you use them. Subscription credits refresh each billing cycle.

Can free accounts buy top-ups?

Yes. Top-ups are one-time purchases available from billing when you need more generation credits. Starter and Growth add recurring credits and higher app limits.

Are all locales included?

Yes. Starter and Growth can generate and translate screenshots for all supported App Store locales.

Are Shots screenshots approved by Apple?

Yes. Shots screenshots are live in production App Store listings including Babel Pods and Pull. Apple reviews each app submission in App Store Connect, so check final screenshots against your app UI and claims before submitting.

Where do payments happen?

Checkout, top-ups, cancellations, and plan management happen through secure hosted Dodo Payments checkout and portal pages.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can upgrade, change billing interval, manage payment details, or cancel from the hosted billing portal in Studio.

Is there an annual option?

Yes. Starter and Growth both support monthly and yearly billing. The yearly toggle shows the monthly-equivalent price first and the annual total underneath.
